*The importance of combustion analysis as part of a gas-fired heating system inspection cannot be overstated. The combustion data provided by the analysis of the heater’s flue gases identifies the state of performance of the heating equipment. We perform combustion analysis for the following reasons:
• Verify the safe operation of the combustion system.
• Verify the integrity of the heating unit and its venting system.
• Monitor the combustion efficiency of the heating unit.
This information can point to possible problems that require correction immediately for safe and satisfactory operation of the heating system.
